Alex Konstantinov is a computational scientist with CCP-EM and CCP4 at STFC RAL. He studied Physics and Computing Science at the University of Aberdeen. He is currently working with the wwPDB on the future of metadata in structural biology.
Alongside the metadata work, Alex contributes to optimisation of CCP-EM and CCP4 software and workflows. Previously he worked on one of the biggest scientific storage clusters in the world, and explored the use of LLMs at STFC
for documentation and developer assistance. Outside work, he enjoys hiking, art, cooking, visual design and live music.
